When the wire breaks, the bead will fall off

This bracelet is made from glass, metal and a series of short wires.  Wires act as the glue that holds everything together in this design. If one of the wires break, only one bead will fall off. Luckily, the owner of this bracelet was able to find the bead. To repair this bracelet, I ran a wire thru the black bead, made a tiny loop then wrapped the loop for security and beauty.  Another bracelet back on the wrist again!

A Beautiful Surprise

My friend Judith found this beautiful necklace in a tangled heap at the bottom of a jewelry box. The repair looks simple, but it is not. It  looks like you should be able to tie a knot and call it a day, but nope. The string is too short and this pearl necklace is knotted. By knotted, I mean there’s a knot between each bead. To repair this necklace, I had to take the broken strand apart by clipping one knot at a time. Then, I was able to string and hand knot the necklace to make it wearable again. Now it's time to make a statement in this repaired beauty!
