Broken multiple strand necklace repair question

I have a beaded necklace with multiple strands and only one strand is broken. Should I have all of the strands repaired or just the broken strand?

It depends. If the strand was cut, yanked or broken by force, having the one strand repaired may be sufficient, but if the string is brittle, the unbroken strands are probably in the same state of deterioration and it’s just a matter of time before they breaks also.
